What the day is like
You pick up from your Maun hotel mid-morning. The 4x4 heads to Moremi Game Reserve on the eastern side of the Delta, entering through the public gate with your guide. You spend the day on game drive roads and tracks, glassing for elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, red lechwe, giraffe and other wildlife. Moremi is drier than the western channels, so the animals concentrate on the water and around mopane woodlands. Your guide spots movements, calls, and spoor and stops to watch. Lunch is on the reserve or back in Maun (check the operator). Return to Maun by late afternoon.
